And in 2023, they expanded their reach with a second showroom in Guiseley, further solidifying their commitment to providing exceptional sleep solutions and home furnishings to the West Yorkshire community.

The Carriage Burley’s dedication to quality and service has not gone unnoticed. In 2017/18, William and Vicky were awarded Runners-Up in the National Bed Retailer of the Year awards. William’s background in the home interiors industry, as former joint owner of Taylor Golding Kitchens and Bathrooms, combined with Vicky’s expertise as a Chartered Accountant, has proven a winning formula. Their success continued with The Carriage winning the Best Independent Retailer of the Year Award at the Ilkley Business Awards in 2019. There was further recognition and achievement in 2025 when The Carriage were announced as a finalist in the category of Small NBF Retail Champion of the Year at the National Bed Federation Awards 2025-2026. In the same year they were also a finalist in the Best Business to Consumer category at the Ilkley Business Awards and a finalist in the Best Retailer category of the Telegraph & Argus Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Awards.
